Taurupe Manor Barn Taurupe
BackThe manor barn, built in the first half of the 19th century, forms part of the historic Taurupe Manor complex. The building’s original design is only identifiable by partial historical evidence, which was restored and preserved during the reconstruction. The contemporary architectural solutions create a harmonious symbiosis with the historic building, respecting its scale and bringing it to the foreground. The building houses an exhibition on the local history of Taurupe District and a multifunctional exhibition and event hall. The Manor barn has been transformed into a modern and important cultural space for the neighbourhood, passing on and preserving its cultural heritage for future generations.
